After a day of surfing, I and my buddy checked into Solar Das Avencas for a relaxing stay. the room was spacious, steeped in history, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. the host, José, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding breakfast, featuring local products and homemade treats. José's passion for his family's history and the region was truly inspiring. We were treated like long-lost family members, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Despite our early departure, our host made sure we had coffee and cakes before we left. the vast room with period furnishings and the rooftop courtyard added to the overall experience. Solar Das Avencas not only offers comfortable accommodation but also a glimpse into Portuguese family life. To the charming atmosphere, the hotel's facilities including the garden and shared lounge were well-maintained. Solar Das Avencas exceeded our expectations and left us eager to return, making it a true highlight of our Portugal trip.
